PI TAPE Model P9 - 96 in. - 108 in. Range Outside Diameter Measuring Tape - 1095 Steel

The Pi Tape P9 outside diameter tape measures the outside diameter of shafts, pipe, rolls, tanks and other cylinders from 96″ to 108″ directly. Its scale is graduated in units of π, so it reads the diameter rather than the circumference, and a vernier gives the fine reading.

Using it: clean the tape and the part, wrap the tape square to the axis of the part, read the main scale at the vernier zero, then add the vernier line that lines up exactly. Pi Tape’s instruction sheet comes with the tape.
