The Pi Tape P5ID inside diameter tape measures the inside diameter of bores, pipe, housings and rings from 48″ to 60″ directly. Its scale is graduated in units of π, so it reads the diameter rather than the circumference, and a vernier gives the fine reading.

Using it: clean the tape and the part, set the tape square inside the bore, read the main scale at the vernier zero, then add the vernier line that lines up exactly. Pi Tape’s instruction sheet comes with the tape.
Other sizes and recertification: larger, special and custom tapes are quoted to order. Pi Tape also recertifies tapes with a new calibration report; ask us to arrange it.
